Last time I remember seeing Lynnette she was at a sports event carrying her camera. My husband, Morris, worked for your father in G2 Jim Byrne. My husband, died last year. My condolence to you. Prayers for Lynnette.

Lynnette handed her fishing rod to me and showed me how to cast. I proceeded to cast and release but I released with my whole hand and the rod flew in an arc and started to sink in the lake. Lynnette jumped in and tried to rescue the fishing rod, laughing the entire time, but failed to rescue her rod. We then spent a half hour searching for her now missing necklace which she said was a Saint Anthony. I finally asked her what St. Anthony was for. She stopped, looked at me, and said “for lost items”. We both started laughing. Many good times when we were in our 20’s. She was someone who would do anything for you.

My mother and grandmother both worked with Lynette. My mother had a gorgeous pen and ink drawing of her house gifted by Lynette. It always hung proudly in her home. My condolences.

Words escape me right now as I was shocked to hear this sad news.
Lynette and I had many good memories together. I was always bouncing ideas off of her, she had such a gift for coming up with the right idea.
The one I most cherished memory and was forever grateful for was her helping my mother with her computer. I didn't have the patience. And it didn't help we were mother and daughter. Lynette was able to guide her through whatever it was that needed, whether it was fixing it or working a program.
Or her helping one of my brothers with a Christmas project for us siblings that had history to it. Doing the research and finding the appropriate photo to go with it. And helping complete the project. And I still have mine.
I'll miss going to Manhattan and stopping in on her unexpectedly. Us going grocery shopping or out to lunch. The debated on political issue, her being a Democrats, me being a Republican. But we always respected each other's thought and opinions.
I will always cherish my memories of our time together.
Lynette will be greatly missed.

As the librarian at Sheridan Elementary, I worked alongside Lynnette many times on various media projects. It was usually some hair brained idea I had that she enthusiastically agreed to help with! My favorite memory was when I asked her to come to my house to video tape me reading...I’m Not Going to Get Up Today by Dr. Seuss for Read Across America Day.
She arrived with her big fancy schmancy video camera on her shoulder and I met her at the door in my jammies, house robe, and curlers! Oh, how we laughed! I wish I still had a copy of that video...the kids at Sheridan loved it!

I had the pleasure of working with as well as friendship with this very talented lady. Lynette created all my posters for my productions as well as classroom posters, signature door poster with a character holding a Shakesspeare hat, I still have, now I will frame it. She took many photos of my productions that I treasure plus I have one of her windmill in Kansas photo hanging in my bedroom. May she rest is peace as there will be no one like her again, galloping down the hall with a camera around her neck.

Lynnette,
You were a kind and true friend to us. I will always miss running our dogs together in the creek and woods. Those were the best of times. You were a talented photographer and artist and we will always treasure knowing you, dear friend. We will always miss you, Suzie and Skip Pickering

So sorry for Lynnette’s passing. As the district communications coordinator, I worked with her for several years. She was a very dedicated staff member of 475 and an ardent Bluejay. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

I worked with Lynette in the library at JCHS my junior and senior year of school, so sorry that she has left our earthly plain. Live free girl paint and photo on! Paint the sky for us!

Lynnette,
You will be missed so very much! The memories I have of growing up with you not only as cousins, but as friends will last a lifetime, I smile every time I think of you, you brought joy and laughter in to the lives of so many people, and your talents were many! May God watch over you, I love you, and I will miss you.
